CHEM-E-CAR

About Chem-E-Car:

Chem-E-Car at MIT-WPU is a student-driven team consisting of undergraduate engineering students where members acquire and refine their engineering skills to design an innovative chemically or biochemically powered car which promotes creativity and teamwork in fellow members thereby enhancing their productivity to work on a project independently.

The hands-on application lets you pull it all together thereby providing the platform for students to apply classroom learning in real-world situation putting all our knowledge to test.

ACHIEVEMENTS

- Team Excelsior represented India at the Annual Student Conference 2023, held in Orlando, Florida and secured the 25th rank globally.

- Team Excelsior came first in India and second in Southeast Asia in the Chem-E-Car Performance Competition at the Student Regional Conference 2023: SYNERGICON, hosted by Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat and qualified to participate in the Annual Student Conference 2023.


- Team Ironic Bonds secured the 1st rank in the Chem-E-Car Performance Competition and 2nd in the Chem-E-Car Safety Inspection and Poster Competition at the India Student Regional Conference hosted by VIT Vellore.
- Team Excelsior won the 1st prize in the Virtual Chem-E-Car Performance Competition at the India Student Regional Conference 2021 hosted by Ahmedabad University.

- Team Excelsior participated and ranked 27th globally in the Annual Chem-E-Car Performance Competition at the Annual Student Conference 2019 held in Orlando, Florida.

- Team Excelsior secured the 1st rank in the Chem-E-Car Performance Competition at the India Student Regional Conference 2019, hosted by MIT-WPU.

- Team Excelsior secured the 2nd rank in the Chem-E-Car Performance Competition and the 2nd rank in the Chem-E-Car Safety Inspection and Poster Competition at the India Student Regional Conference 2019, hosted by MIT-WPU.

- Primous was MIT-WPU's first Chem-E-Car which participated at the India Student Regional Conference 2018 hosted by VIT Vellore and it won the award for the Best Innovative Design.
